About The Position

We are looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and internal tooling. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
  • 0–2 years of experience in a DevOps, systems administration, or software development role.
  • Basic familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration fundamentals.
  • Exposure to version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Familiarity with scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Exposure to container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
  • Relevant certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner, CompTIA Linux+, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable software delivery.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Support infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot build, deployment, and environment-related issues.
  • Help manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Assist with incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem documentation.
  • Contribute to automating repetitive operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and runbooks.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as experience grows.
