Position Overview: We are looking for a seasoned Electrical Estimator with a strong background in electrical systems and a proven track record in estimating. The ideal candidate will also possess exceptional marketing and communication skills to effectively present our services and build strong relationships with clients.
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of experience in electrical estimating preferred.
- Experience with Accubid Anywhere or previous versions.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Exceptional marketing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and blueprints to determine the scope of work and required resources.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate and comprehensive project bids.
- Present and explain estimates to clients, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Assist in the preparation of bid proposals, including cost breakdowns and schedules.
- Utilize marketing skills to effectively promote our services and secure new business opportunities.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, team members, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
