About The Position

Sustainable Talent is partnering with Nvidia a global leader who's been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for over 25 years. We are looking for a Junior Hardware Validation Engineer to support our client's team based out of in Santa Clara, CA. This is a full-time (W-2) contract role. We offer competitive pay $90/hr - $110/hr based on factors like experience, education, location, etc. and provide full benefits, PTO, and amazing company culture! What will you be doing: Execute system level test plans on GPUs through an automated test farm infrastructure and assist in any initial triage of failures. Set up and operate lab equipment like scopes, thermal solutions, debugger systems , data acquisition systems as needed for testing and debug. Work with multiple SW tools involved in automation to identify and fix any infrastructure or script issues. Independently handle a group of systems in the test farm to ensure uninterrupted operation , assist in debug of basic PCB or chip issues , document observations and report results to engineers Work closely and actively with engineers and technicians to collect required data on the test systems to solve silicon bring-up problems.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant industry experience (or equivalent experience).
  • Good understanding of PC systems, PC components and network connections.
  • Basic knowledge on scripting and coding is required.
  • Experience with handling lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers).
  • Excellent problem solving, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work on CPU or GPU processors would be a plus.
