About The Position

Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring the integrity and safe working condition of all shop and billboard mounted electrical components/systems. Spends one third of work day traveling to work sites two thirds of day completing electrical work. Safely utilizes tools and supplies to install and maintain electrical components of advertising structures and provide maintenance of warehouse. Essential Functions: Install and repair of wiring and conduit within the scope of the NEC (National Electrical Code). Repair and maintenance of time clock electrical fixtures and control equipment including setting & programming. Planning for new or modified installations to minimize waste of material, provide access for future maintenance & ensure all disconnects are locked when leaving sign. Installation of equipment including lighting fixtures, relays, ballasts, breaker disconnects, circuit breakers and fuses. Use lock out tag method. Identify and promptly report any unsafe conditions observed. Physical/Mental Demands Environment: Climbing and working at elevated heights in various weather conditions sitting, walking, standing, speaking, hearing, reading, kneeling, lifting, carrying a minimum of 50 lbs., multiple concurrent tasks, frequent interruptions, verbal and written communication, detailed work and confidentiality. Equipment Used: Vehicle, Tablet, safely harness with lanyard, personal protective equipment (steel toe boots, gloves), ladders, multi-meter, power and hand tools, electrical components. Requirements: Ability to climb and work safely at elevated heights. Valid driver’s license. Ability to read blueprints and schematics. Ability to troubleshoot and fix electrical problems. Licensed electrician or ability to demonstrate sufficient knowledge and experience to meet the definition of a qualified person in a sign/billboard work environment. Ability to understand and complete written and verbal communication. The salary range for this role is $35-$37/per hour. Compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate’s experience and skills relative to internal peers and market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position, and collective bargaining agreement terms. Requirements

  • Ability to climb and work safely at elevated heights
