Winrock is seeking multiple consultants (at a junior or more senior level) who can support Winrock climate, energy and/or nature projects 8 to 40 hours per week. The consultants would help support the environmental sustainability strategies of some of the most influential companies in the world. Junior/senior consultants will support Winrock to serve clients in identifying decarbonization and nature-positive opportunities and ensure adherence to GHG calculation methodologies, including the draft Greenhouse Gas Protocol Land Sector & Removals Guidance and Science Based Targets initiative's Forest, Land, and Agriculture Guidance. The junior/senior consultants would do one or more of the following activities: evaluate climate mitigation, energy, and/or regenerative agriculture projects, provide technical advice on GHG measurement and monitoring, climate change mitigation and strategy development and project ideation in agricultural supply chains. Whether a consultant is deemed “junior” or “senior” will depend on the years or experiences, skills, and level of education. This role will be fully remote. Winrock generally prefers that the working location of the consultant to be close to US-based time zones or that the consultant can flex their schedule to align with a US Eastern Time 9-5pm schedule.
