Ready to help students start the school year strong? Cross Country Education is looking for dedicated Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year in Lancaster, SC . Join us and help every student shine! Position Overview: Adapt curriculum to meet the diverse academic and functional needs of students with various disabilities, leading either Resource, Co-Taught, or Self-Contained classrooms across K-12 settings. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for caseloads ranging from 12 to 33 students. Supervise assistants and implement specialized behavioral or moderate-needs strategies. Partner with general education teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate inclusive practices and monitor student progress toward annual goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid South Carolina Certification in Multi-Categorical (ED, MD, EMD, or TMD/Severe also accepted)
