Requirements

  • Previous experience in pet care or animal handling is preferred
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Knowledge of basic animal care and behavior
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with veterinary procedures and terminology is a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercise
  • Clean and maintain kennels, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment
  • Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
  • Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing
  • Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns.
  • Assist with animal handling.
  • Provide basic training and socialization for dogs
  • Assist with pet sitting services as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of animal care and treatments
