About The Position

The Key Account Executive (KAE) – Regional Access plays a critical role in enabling sustainable patient access by driving the execution of Market Access strategies at the country level. This role is responsible for aligning regional strategic priorities with effective local implementation across institutional stakeholders and healthcare systems. The KAE will engage with government institutions, payers, and healthcare decision-makers to support access pathways, navigate procurement environments, and ensure the successful adoption of GSK solutions that improve patient outcomes. The position requires strong execution capability, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to translate strategy into measurable access results within complex healthcare ecosystems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Sciences, Economics, Public Health, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in Institutional Sales, Market Access, Key Account Management, or Government Accounts within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with healthcare stakeholders such as public institutions, payers, and procurement entities.
  • Knowledge of institutional procurement processes, tender dynamics, and healthcare purchasing systems.
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships and influencing decision-making environments.
  • Strong organizational and execution skills, including experience using CRM tools to manage opportunities and pipelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Market Access strategy execution within pharmaceutical or healthcare organizations.
  • Understanding of reimbursement systems, payer structures, and healthcare policy environments.
  • Familiarity with health economics, value dossiers, and evidence-based access discussions.
  • Experience supporting institutional negotiations, contracting processes, and tender participation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams across medical, commercial, and access functions.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills in complex institutional environments.

Responsibilities

  • Execute country-level Market Access plans aligned with regional strategic priorities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional stakeholders, including government and payer organizations.
  • Navigate institutional procurement processes such as tenders, direct purchases, and access pathways.
  • Support negotiations and manage access opportunities within compliance and commercial frameworks.
  • Maintain accurate CRM updates to track opportunities, risks, and institutional pipeline progress.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver market insights and support effective access strategy execution.
