The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Key Accounts Account Executive , you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Managing and growing relationships with some of the nation’s largest health system accounts across the United States, with regular executive-level engagement. Building deep understanding of customer strategies, short- and long-term initiatives, success metrics, risks, and operational needs to drive retention and growth. Providing consultative, diagnostic support including on-site workflow, system, and operational analysis to uncover opportunities and improve outcomes. Leading complex sales pursuits across multiple departments within large hospital systems, from discovery through value positioning, negotiation, and close. Achieving sales objectives through independent sales coverage of assigned accounts/territory, maintaining pipeline discipline and consistent performance against targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND seven (7) years of marketing, key account, and/or sales experience calling on large health systems across the country OR High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND eleven (11) years of marketing, key account, and/or sales experience calling on large health systems across the country
  • Three (3) years of successful high-tech direct sales experience in the healthcare industry with a track record of consistently meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Experience selling AI/LLM and/or advanced technology solutions into the healthcare sector.
  • Demonstrated experience selling and delivering complex, high-dollar (>$1M) technology solutions across multiple departments in large hospital systems.
  • Proven ability to position value with C-level decision makers, develop winning strategies, negotiate contracts, and close profitable business while protecting expected Solventum HIS margins.
  • Prior direct sales experience with a well-regarded information solutions, technology services, or software business within the healthcare information technology sector.
  • Demonstrated sales success in meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Current, valid Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing national or enterprise-level health system accounts with complex stakeholder landscapes.
  • Strong executive presence with advanced presentation, negotiation, and influence skills.
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for forecasting, pipeline management, and deal governance.
