Coastal Beverage Company, Inc., the leading beverage distributor in Eastern North Carolina is looking for a KEY ACCOUNT REP-SALES. As a KEY ACCOUNT REP-SALES, you will be responsible for safely planning and organizing chain activities to ensure the achievement of sales, brand, and package distribution objectives. Professional appearance, excellent time management, and outstanding customer service skills required.

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, plus 5 years of similar or related selling experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, routing software and order processing software experience and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize chain activities to ensure the achievement of sales, brand, and package distribution objectives for Coastal Beverage Company, Inc.
  • Establish and maintain a routine schedule for calling assigned chain accounts. Review current opportunities, business analytics, and other information with each customer.
  • Secure the approval for price promotions, display programs, new product authorizations, price level merchandising, and other related functions for the portfolio.
  • Act as main point of contact for customer and all supplier partners for assigned customers. Build rapport,trust, and credibility with accounts through proactive communication, integrity, and execution.
  • Responsible for aligning and selling based on customer goals while integrating CBC’s brand goals and monthly priorities.
  • Penetrate customer organization to identify customer influencers. Call on buyer/decision-maker, retail operations, and other internal/external resources that can impact execution.
  • Responsible for tracking and evaluating monthly performance and communicating opportunities to the Channel Sales teams for improved execution for all CBC products including beer, wine, N/A, and Red Bull.
  • Collaborate with CBC sales team to ensure coordination of execution to accomplish customer strategies and goals.
  • Identify and resolve customer pricing issues at retail.
  • Communicate weekly and monthly features to CBC sales team. Participate in monthly CBC sales meetings.
  • Conduct regular retail calls that include pricing surveys and execution audits with timely recaps. Communicate results to the Chain Director and the sales team as needed.
  • Share best practices and process improvement ideas.
  • Drive favorable mix to achieve volume, sales, and profitability goals.
  • Lead the category and space planning functions within assigned accounts.
  • Partner and collaborate with DSM’s and Marketing Manager to communicate all pertinent sales programming and pricing information.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
