About The Position

As a Kitchen Line Cook, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to prepare, cook, and present food in accordance with our established recipes and standards. You’ll ensure every dish is prepared with precision and served fresh and on time, contributing to a great customer experience.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1+ year of restaurant or kitchen experience preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail and passion for food presentation and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Customer-Focused: A commitment to providing excellent service and maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation: Follow recipes to prepare basic components of dishes, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and creating meal portions.
  • Cooking & Presentation: Cook menu items with care, ensuring food is presented beautifully and in accordance with NetCost Market standards.
  • Sanitation: Keep your work station clean, organized, and sanitized according to company health and safety standards.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely service and consistent food quality.
  • Inventory & Stocking: Ensure kitchen stations are stocked with necessary supplies and maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food freshness and quality, ensuring dishes are cooked and served at the highest standards.
  • Compliance: Adhere to nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations to ensure food quality and customer satisfaction.
