About The Position
We’re an established organic café in Hermosa Beach known for our seed-oil-free, from-scratch menu made with high-quality organic ingredients. We’re looking for a Kitchen Lead who takes pride in real food and can help lead a small, focused kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who has solid kitchen experience and is ready to step into a leadership role, maintain standards, and help guide service with calm, steady energy.
Requirements
- Strong line cook or kitchen leadership experience
- Someone who works clean, organized, and fast without cutting corners
- A genuine appreciation for organic ingredients and intentional cooking
- Reliable, steady, and able to lead by example
Responsibilities
- Lead the kitchen team during service and set the tone for the shift
- Ensure consistency and quality of scratch-made menu items
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient kitchen
- Support prep, service, and daily kitchen operations
- Help uphold a respectful, accountable team culture
