About The Position

Develop and conduct routine, special testing and experiments under the guidance of the Engineering Staff. Set-up and validate new equipment, help develop test criteria and process parameters as deemed appropriate. Collect and analyze data from tests and experiments, make recommendations on corrective action and/or improvements. In accordance with the Company’s documentation procedure, develop and improve operating procedures, testing criteria and processes as necessary or assigned. In accordance with the Company’s documentation procedure, write and retain detailed records including test plans, test parameters, observations and communications as appropriate. Monitor laboratory test data results and reports, investigate discrepancies, and make recommendations for corrective action and process changes, as necessary. Maintain lab files and reports and furnish appropriate information for regulatory reporting. Use computer and necessary software to draft comprehensive reports, develop spreadsheets, chart tables, and graphs to support reports. Read and interpret engineering drawings and other engineering related documentation including charts and formulas. Product knowledge: functionality, performance, and quality requirements. Help train and instruct back-up lab staff, operations personnel and other support staff as needed or directed by Supervisor. Maintain laboratory area for safe and clean operating condition. Perform any other duties, related in nature, which may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school education with the demonstrated ability to do algebra and trigonometry calculations and writing skills.
  • 3-5 years of experience in comparable area of work and or formal education and experience equivalent.
  • Demonstrated Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Product knowledge: functionality, performance, and quality requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of AX operating system a plus.
