About The Position

Porch Light Health is a local leader in outpatient treatment of Opioid Use Disorders and other addictive disorders. Requirements

Years of verified laboratory processing experience.
Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize daily, weekly and monthly checklists.
Monitor areas of responsibility (Specimen count, Temperatures, Humidity, Bio-hazard Rotation, Fire Extinguishers, etc...).
Involvement in the initial specimen error process.
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
Dependability.
Computer/Office skills, MS Office, Google suites EMR System.
Must have in depth knowledge of patient specimen processing (temp, type, time, initials, order issues).
High School Diploma (Required)
Must have at least 5 years of validated laboratory processing, not simply "wanding in".

Nice To Haves

Some College (preferred).

Responsibilities

Works in our laboratory, setting the pace for the lab.
Field first level phone calls.
Process specimens and help the Screening Team, for evening run.
Handling of body fluids and possible testing samples.
Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize daily, weekly and monthly checklists.
Monitor areas of responsibility (Specimen count, Temperatures, Humidity, Bio-hazard Rotation, Fire Extinguishers, etc...).
Involvement in the initial specimen error process.
