Position Summary Sea Fox Boat Company is seeking a dependable and hardworking Cut & Grind Technician to support our boat manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for cutting, grinding, trimming, and preparing fiberglass components to meet production specifications. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, works safely, and takes pride in producing quality work.
Requirements
- Successfully complete a drug screening and background check
- Be comfortable operating power tools, hand tools, sanders, and grinders
- Demonstrate the ability to use a hole saw
- Accurately read a tape measure
- Be dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
Nice To Haves
- Previous fiberglass or boat manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required for motivated candidates willing to learn.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings
- Cut, grind, and trim fiberglass parts to specification
- Use hole saws, sanders, grinders, and other hand and power tools
- Accurately read and use a tape measure
- Maintain production pace to ensure timely delivery of parts to the manufacturing line
- Safely get on and off boat decks and hulls as required
- Keep work areas and equipment clean and organized
- Follow all safety procedures and housekeeping guidelines
- Work professionally and cooperatively with team members
