About The Position

Edgeland is an emerging landscape architecture firm and will include building out company standards, creating efficient workflows, and templates to be used by the firm moving forward. As a growing company, Edgeland provides the opportunity to broaden your skill set and exercise creativity. You will be supported by company leadership and play a key role in Edgeland’s development. Landscape Architect with 3–8 years of experience collaborating with architects, clients, engineers, and consultants to define project goals, schedules, and budgets. Develop detailed site development and construction documentation—including plans, details, specs, and cost estimates—while coordinating existing and proposed land features. Produce clear, compelling design graphics using Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, with strong 3D visualization and rendering skills. Select appropriate materials and planting/irrigation solutions, and perform construction site reviews to confirm compliance with design intent, codes, and contract documents. Your Impact: Partner with the Architectural Design team to confer with clients, engineers, and other consultants to develop clear project goals, deadlines, budgets, and expectations. Prepare detailed construction documents including but not limited to site plans, construction details, specifications, cost estimates, bid proposals. Coordinate the arrangement of existing and proposed land features and structures. Prepare graphic representations of proposed plans using computer-aided design and drafting software (Revit), 3-D modeling (SketchUp), and hand-graphics. Select appropriate materials for use in landscape designs including plants, paving, fencing, signage, furnishings, etc. Inspect construction sites to ensure projects adhere to original design plans, codes, and contract documents. Here’s What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Landscape Architecture. 3-8 years of professional experience. Technical knowledge of landscape architecture site development elements. Registered Landscape Architect in the state is preferred. Strong working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite. Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Landscape Architecture.
