About The Position

The award-winning Landscape Management Group at Suncrest has become a recognized leader in Northeast Ohio. From turfgrass maintenance to seasonal color enhancement, we manage every aspect of the landscape. We are excited to expand our team and are seeking experienced Crew Leaders to manage the day-to-day duties of 2-3 crew members on commercial, residential, and HOA properties.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Valid Drivers License with minimal moving violations.
1-3 years of experience as a Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader preferred.
3-5 years of experience as a Landscape Maintenance Technician.
Team orientated, organized, and willing to learn.

Nice To Haves

Pesticide certifications are preferred but not required.
Strong Plant ID knowledge preferred, willing to train.

Responsibilities

Monitor and lead the day-to-date activity of 2-3 crew members on commercial, residential, and HOA properties.
Operate all mower types and two-cycle equipment including stick edgers, hedge trimmers, string trimmers, and various other landscape maintenance equipment.
Complete and submit all paperwork in a timely manner.
Evaluate the performance of crew members and escalate potential concerns to Field Supervisor for correction.
Utilize instructions and guidance from Field Supervisors and Account Managers to ensure that all jobs are being completed to the expectations of the clients.
Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the company vehicles and trailers to ensure that all equipment is present, functional, and secure.
Exercise strong communication skills will all team members, management, and customers.
Ensure that crew members are informed on best practices, safety, and hour allowance for all jobs.
Participate in snow and ice removal throughout the winter months.
Input and track the daily hours for all crew members using LMN.
