About The Position

AECOM is seeking a Landscape Design Intern to be based in Arlington, VA. This position is expected to begin Summer 2026. Requirements

  • Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or in another related field and must have completed at least 2 years of study. Candidates who have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with the Master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Revit, Rhino, ArcGIS and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Adept at developing creative and innovative renderings, maps, and documentation.
  • Efficient and organized with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to balance priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Support site analyses, site design, landscape design alternatives.
  • Prepare site plan renderings, 3D modeling and perspectives to support the design concepts.
  • Support technical drawings including hardscape and planting plans, sections, and details.
  • Support the development of presentations and prepare for the client meetings.
  • Organize and track administrative project tasks like meeting minutes, action items, and scheduling needs.
