We are seeking a knowledgeable Laser Operator II to join our team at Glenn Metalcraft. Key Responsibilities Advanced understanding of various machinery and equipment necessary to produce metal components Must follow all safety policies and procedures, including lockout/Tag out Promote “safety first” mindset across production floor and ensure staff are following safety procedures/guidelines Understand and accurately report daily production quantities to meet set number of parts per hour Consistent and accurate counts of materials and products Performs necessary quality checks on product and completes daily communication Ability to perform advanced adjustments and repairs to machines Ability to setup workstation according to safety standards to perform maximum efficiency Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment according to established procedures Ability to recall and input programs Perform complete machine set ups without assistance Maintain a positive attitude with customers, clients, co-workers, and management May assist with running multiple Lasers as needed Ability to load new consumables and troubleshoot Accurately check out tools through tool crib inventory system Ability to qualify first part approval for inspection Assists with performing preventative maintenance as needed Ability to read, write and save setup sheets for various machines Ability to adjust cut conditions for best performance/time Ability to change gases and adjust pressures as needed.
