Law Clerk Internship
About The Position
As a Law Clerk, you will conduct legal research and analysis and prepare concise, well-written memoranda, pleadings, and correspondence on legal matters for the Farm Bureau Financial Services Legal Department. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a variety of different practice areas, including civil litigation, insurance, employment, corporate compliance, contracts, and agricultural law. The position starts in May 2026 and runs full time throughout the summer. 2L students may start earlier than May. Law students have the option of continuing during the school year with flexible hours to accommodate their course schedule.
Requirements
- The Law Clerk position is open to 1L, 2L, and 3L students.

- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis.
- At this time, we are not considering candidates that need any type of immigration sponsorship now or in the future, such as additional or permanent work authorization.

- For example, we are not considering candidates with OPT status.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of litigation, administrative, or agricultural law is a plus.
- The candidate's familiarity with agriculture is preferred but not required.
