The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company. Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Business Execution Consultant in New York, NY. Job Role and Responsibility: Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives. Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate. Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance. Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations. Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans. Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives. Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group. Remote / telecommute work available, up to 2 days per week. Position required to appear in person at the location listed as the work address. Travel required: None

Requirements

  • Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related business field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving strategy and planning experience.
  • Experience with a premier strategy consulting firm or prior corporate strategy within Financial Services, FinTech or BigTech
  • Having subject-matter expertise within consumer, commercial or corporate banking and its products
  • Skilled in developing structured competitive analysis frameworks and conducting real time assessments of business positioning, leveraging the internal and external data and business intelligence to formulate the desired outcome
  • Advanced expertise in both qualitative and quantitative data analysis to inform decision-making and uncover actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in using Power BI and related data visualization tools to conduct quantitative analysis
  • Strong understanding of treasury management and payment systems, with the ability to apply product knowledge to business strategy and client needs
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor to line of business stakeholders, contribute independent perspective and anticipate their needs
  • Ability to effectively lead, partner with and successfully influence senior executives and other stakeholders at all levels across the matrix organization
  • Effective in connecting the strategy to the execution; being inclusive and transparent when communicating to the key stakeholders and sponsors of the initiatives.
