US Heart and Vascular is needing a Lead Cardiac Exercise Technician to join our team at Memorial Cardiology in Houston, TX. Position Summary The Lead Cardiac Exercise Technician oversees daily operational workflow, staffing coordination, and quality standards within cardiac stress testing and diagnostic exercise services. This role ensures high quality patient care through effective leadership, workflow management, and collaboration with clinical and administrative partners. Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Operations Manages staffing coverage and scheduling for the cardiac exercise technician team to ensure consistent operational support. Provides direct patient care and perform cardiac exercise testing when the team is short-staffed or during high-volume periods. Is proactive in supporting patient volume growth by monitoring the patient recapture process, managing upcoming schedules, and helping ensure optimal booking utilization. Manages and approve timecards; ensure accurate timekeeping and labor allocation. Trains, coaches, and develops cardiac exercise technicians to support professional growth and performance improvement. Conducts routine audits of workflows and operational processes to ensure clinical accuracy, safety, and efficiency. Maintains site readiness by enforcing cleanliness, organization, and safety standards across all assigned location Equipment, Supplies & Facilities Coordinates preventive maintenance, repairs, and service visits for all exercise and diagnostic equipment. Oversees supply management, including inventory tracking, ordering, and vendor coordination. Ensures all testing environments meet regulatory and compliance standards. Collaboration & Communication Partners with physicians, clinical leadership, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless patient care delivery. Supports process improvement initiatives and communicate operational updates to staff and leadership. Other Maintains a safe workplace by following established safety protocols, reporting hazards, and participating in required safety training. When position requires travel to/from other locations, ensures vehicles are operated and maintained in compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company requirements. Fosters a team-oriented environment by encouraging cooperation, providing support, and resolving conflicts constructively. Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and respect in all interactions. Follows processes and policies for the organization. Reports to work as scheduled, ready to perform duties, and promptly notify their supervisor of any attendance issues.
