Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, Java Developer In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.
Requirements
- BE/B Tech/MCA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring MVC, Spring Security.
- Apache Kafka experience, including Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, and event-driven microservices.
- Database expertise in IBM DB2, including schema design, stored procedures, and query optimization.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API development, API gateways, and authentication mechanisms.
- Proficiency in unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an Agile environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Python is a plus.
- Knowledge of messaging systems like Websphere MQ or ActiveMQ is an advantage.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
Responsibilities
- Application Development\: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Kafka Integration\: Implement and manage real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Database Management\: Work with IBM DB2, including writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies.
- System Architecture\: Contribute to the design and architecture of large-scale distributed systems with best practices in microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native technologies.
- Performance Optimization\: Identify bottlenecks and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaboration\: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, DevOps, and QA, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Code Quality & Best Practices\: Maintain high code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews while following Agile methodologies.
- Security & Compliance\: Ensure that applications meet industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Mentoring\: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
