About The Position

Lead CT Technologist Various Shifts and Weekly Hours Laboratory Services I Georgetown, KY Responsibilities: Maintains a cohesive working relationship and spirit of cooperation with coworkers, other employees and related individuals. Sets a positive example for staff through professional knowledge, appearance, personal conduct and interactions. Maintains a professional working environment and follows all hospital policies and guideline recommendations. Proactively plans and executes patient flow in CT and X-Ray. Coordinate staffing schedule to ensure adequate coverage of Radiology services. Assist management with staff selection, training, and competency. Assist management with feedback for annual staff appraisals. Actively participates in training new employees on equipment functionality, exam protocols and modifications. Produce quality images in CT and X-Ray for Radiologist’s review. Verifies images archived to PACS and notifies PACS administrator of any issues. Must be able to complete warm up and QC on all equipment. Report all equipment malfunctions and environmental safety concerns to proper personnel. Stays up to date on regulatory standards and changes. Works with management and vendors to schedule maintenance on equipment. Manages physical and financial resources within established guidelines. Includes monitoring supply inventory and assuring equipment properly maintained. Requirements: Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology (associate degree). 3 years of experience. Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry in Radiography RT(R)(CT). Current Commonwealth of Kentucky Radiation License with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy. Current CPR for Healthcare Providers. Requirements
