About The Position

Foth is currently seeking a Lead Graphic Designer to help steward, shape, and evolve the visual identity of an established, growth-oriented science and engineering firm. This hybrid position based in De Pere, WI is ideal for a seasoned designer who wants more than production work and is tailored for someone who enjoys owning the details, influencing brand direction, and translating complex, technical information into clear, compelling visuals. In this position, you’ll lead the design and production of high-impact visual communications across marketing, business development, recruiting, internal communications, and brand initiatives. You’ll bring strategic thinking and hands-on execution to elevate consistency, clarity, and craft across every touchpoint as Foth continues to grow, modernize, and expand into new markets and service offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • 10+ years of professional graphic design experience of both print and digital marketing materials, including knowledge of production specifications for each medium
  • Significant prior experience in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Experience preparing press-ready files and coordinating print production (proofing, revisions, supplier communication)
  • Proven experience working within and supporting the evolution of an established brand system

  • Experience with advanced PowerPoint design and presentation formatting
  • Experience coordinating with suppliers (printers, fabricators, etc.)
  • Professional practice with asset management systems and structured file environments
  • Experience supporting marketing for multi-market or multi-location organizations
  • Photography experience (editing and asset management)
  • Videography experience (basic coordination, shooting, and editing)
  • Digital user interface design experience

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a lead creative resource, guiding visual direction while ensuring alignment with established brand standards
  • Partner with marketing leadership to support and maintain brand guidelines, templates, and scalable visual systems
  • Apply strong design judgment to elevate the quality, clarity, and consistency of visual communications across teams and audiences
  • Support brand evolution initiatives tied to growth, new markets, acquisitions, and changing business needs
  • Champion consistent brand implementation across the One Foth landscape
  • Design and produce a wide range of print and digital deliverables, including: Marketing collateral (stationery, brochures, thought leadership materials) Proposals, SOQs, resumes, and presentations Trade show displays, banners, signage, and exhibit graphics Social media graphics, digital ads, and other digital campaign assets Internal communication materials (newsletters, posters, invitations, signage)
  • Develop custom illustrations, diagrams, maps, and process graphics that translate technical/complex information into clear visuals
  • Lead projects from concept through final production, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Prepare press-ready files and digital deliverables with precision and attention to detail
  • Coordinate with external suppliers for signage, displays, specialty items, and high-quality printed materials
  • Review proofs, manage revisions, and ensure final outputs meet brand and quality standards
  • Support in-house printing and large-format plotting as needed
  • Work closely with marketing, business development, recruiting, internal communications, facilities, and leadership teams to translate business objectives into effective visual solutions and provide templates/guidance to contributors as appropriate
  • Support conference/trade show coordinators and shipping/logistics coordinators (inventory support, packing lists, shipping backup, etc.) as needed
