St. Jude is the first and only pediatric cancer center to be designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute. We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Lead Researcher to join the Velasquez Lab in the Department of Bone Marrow Transplantation & Cellular Therapy (BMTCT). The Velasquez lab is interested in developing cellular immunotherapies for pediatric cancer. The Lead Researcher will conduct research that is focused on the immunotherapy of pediatric high-risk leukemias with genetically modified T cells. They will join a highly collaborative research group that strives to build and maintain a culture of respect, diversity, and inclusion. Likewise, we care deeply about the success and professional growth of our lab members. Applicants with experience in generating and evaluating human immune cells, flow cytometry, and preclinical models are strongly encouraged to apply.
