About The Position

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Lead Technology Leadership Professional will serve as a senior execution partner in Humana's enterprise-wide initiative to streamline provider workflows and elevate provider experience. This individual will focus on driving tactical delivery, coordinating cross-functional workstreams, and supporting strategic pilots and vendor engagements across provider onboarding, contracting, credentialing, and servicing processes. The Lead Technology Leadership Professional collaborates with the business and technical stakeholders to identify and deliver on provider simplification goals and milestones. Supports product evaluation and qualification on leading edge technology components. Support automation and digital enablement initiatives that reduce friction and improve provider satisfaction. Facilitate communication and alignment across stakeholders. Contribute to change management and communication planning to support adoption and sustainability. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field
  • Understand how to drive technical strategy and architectural decisions that result in scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions
  • 10+ more years of Program leadership experience in a company like Humana
  • 5+ years of Experience in working in a Product mindset Delivery model
  • Evaluate and manage strategic vendors/SaaS; drive contract value, integration quality, and performance SLAs.
  • Full-stack or backend lead familiar with AI integration, EHR data, or API design
  • Lead architecture and technical delivery; ensures scalability and data security
  • Experience with the technologies in use in the application(s) or infrastructure
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders
  • Advanced experience leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements, and trend reports
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years Healthcare payer/provider experience (claims, provider data, credentialing, eligibility, utilization, quality, or member engagement).
  • 5+ years of experience in leading a team directly or in a matrix manner
  • 2+ years of prior application technology architecture experience
  • Experience in leading Cloud initiatives with deeper Cloud knowledge
  • Familiar with prompt engineering, large language models, and emerging AI trends
  • Demonstrated ability to run large scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams.
  • Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications, and processes
