The Leadership Fellows Program (LFP) is a full-time position that prepares you for a career at Fairfield University. It involves a series of three cross-functional assignments within University business operations, namely, Academics, Advancement, Enrollment, ITS, Marketing, and Human Resources. During this two-year program, you will also participate in one or more formal leadership training and development programs as well as mentoring to supplement the work experience. During each of the rotations, you will work with assigned supervisors on tasks and projects that help you gain valuable skills while learning how each function contributes to the performance of the University and successful student outcomes. These projects will involve analyzing data, troubleshooting and solving problems with existing processes, and providing support with new initiatives related to the University’s systems, infrastructure, regulatory environment, and strategic growth initiatives. The LFP combines individual and team-based work assignments, providing an immersive experience with critical business processes and related workflows. During the program, participants will have an opportunity to work with senior leadership, interface with internal and external customers, and build productive relationships with University employees, functions, and vendors. Upon successfully completing the program, you may be considered for continued employment opportunities, including positions within the sponsoring departments or other relevant openings that match your qualifications and interests.
