About The Position

Mission Rock Residential California is looking for a Leasing Administrative Assistant to support the leasing process by coordinating rent-ready units with our third-party leasing partner and ensuring they are properly marketed and leased. In this role, you will review lease agreements, verify required documentation, and help maintain an efficient and compliant leasing operation. Why work for Mission Rock? Requirements

  • Comprehension of federal Fair Housing laws and applicable local housing regulations, with the ability to ensure all leases and applications remain compliant
  • Proficiency with CRM systems such as Flex/Yardi and web platforms for virtual tours, along with the ability to quickly learn new software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities to assist residents and prospects effectively
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Basic math skills to review documents, invoices, and data accurately
  • Professional demeanor with a positive attitude
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • The capacity to apply logical thinking to resolve issues efficiently

Responsibilities

  • Manage units released by property management that are ready to be leased and coordinate with the third-party leasing vendor to ensure units are priced, advertised, and returned to the market in a timely manner when needed
  • Review and execute lease agreements while ensuring all leases and applications comply with company standards and current legal requirements
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed and submitted prior to the resident’s move-in date
  • Monitor invoices from the third-party leasing vendor for accuracy and approve them for processing
  • Assist current and prospective residents with leasing questions and support lease modifications when necessary
