About The Position
The Hebrew Language program in the Department of Near Eastern and Judaic Studies at Brandeis University is seeking an instructor for the fall 2026 semester to teach HBRW 10a Beginning Hebrew and HBRW 19a Beginning Hebrew: Honors , with the possibility of teaching an additional section of HBRW 10a Beginning Hebrew in the spring 2027 semester.
Requirements
- MA Degree
- Fluency in Modern Hebrew language
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in Hebrew language, literature or culture, or with a specialty in second-language acquisition in Hebrew
- Experience teaching Hebrew language courses at the university level
- Native or near-native level of spoken and written proficiency in Hebrew
