About The Position

Hanley Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to eliminate addiction through prevention, treatment, advocacy, and recovery support. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Level 2 Systems Administrator to join our internal IT team. This role is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the organization’s IT infrastructure, with a focus on Windows, cloud, virtualization, networking, and security. The ideal candidate will help ensure system reliability, performance, and data integrity while supporting internal users and business operations.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in enterprise or internal IT systems administration.
  • Strong proficiency with Windows Servers and Windows Desktop OS.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, cloud platforms, networking, and security.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
  • If in recovery, one (1) year of continuous sobriety is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with IT security best practices and compliance standards is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (A+, Microsoft, Azure) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Solid PowerShell foundations.
  • Maintain and optimize virtualized environments using Hyper-V.
  • Support internal cloud infrastructure within O365 and Azure.
  • Strong SharePoint and OneDrive skills.
  • Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and security protocols.
  • Provide basic and advanced troubleshooting and technical support for internal hardware, software, and infrastructure issues.
  • VOIP maintenance, setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Networking/Switch/Router experience.
  • Provide IT Helpdesk for both onsite and remote staff.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure for internal deployments and system standardization.
  • Monitor system performance, perform capacity planning, and manage system upgrades and patching.
  • Create and maintain accurate technical documentation and internal IT procedures
  • Attend staff meetings as scheduled and as needed.
  • Report all alleged incidents of abuse or neglect following all state standards and accrediting bodies.
  • Protect patient’s rights.
  • Uphold Hanley Foundation Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintain patient/potential patient confidentiality per Hanley Policy.
