Bancroft is actively seeking highly motivated individuals for our Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) to join our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Center of Excellence; a team of approximately 50 Licensed Behavior Analysts (LBAs/LBA-Ds) and Licensed Assistant Behavior Analysts (LaBAs) providing services across our organization. We work together to treat challenging behavior, build skills and have the ability to collaborate with a large group of like-minded clinicians.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field, plus a minimum of two years of related experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, required.
  • BCBA certification required.
  • New Jersey licensure in behavior analysis is required.
  • Though NJ licensure is a requirement, candidates with an active BCBA certification may be eligible to interview.

Nice To Haves

  • A PhD in a related discipline is desirable.
  • Prior experience in functional assessment and treatment development is highly preferred.
  • Prior management experience is also preferred.

Responsibilities

  • The Behavior Analyst supervises and oversees all activities associated with the development and implementation of behavior analytic services within the Individual Service Plan and Behavior Intervention Plan.
  • Leads the development and implementation of Behavior Plans; this includes functional behavior assessment/analysis, preference assessments and treatment evaluations.
  • Engages in ongoing data review and analysis to ensure effective programming.
  • Identifies training needs of program staff members and develop and conduct those trainings to ensure the ongoing knowledge and ability to effectively implement behavior plans.
  • Conducts/Oversees team screening evaluations and intake assessments, oversees the admission, transition, and discharge processes.
  • Coordinates and leads clinical case review meetings (rounds) to ensure proper data review and discussion of the needs of persons’ served.
  • Serves as a behavior analysis expert to the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
  • Conducts and presents research to internal and external audiences.
  • The Behavior Analyst serves as a clinical supervisor, implementing ABA themselves but also, training and directly supervising Behavior Support Specialists.
