Licensed Practical Nurse - Plainville
About The Position
The LPN assists in maintaining the health and well-being of program participants by monitoring health issues and implementing policies, procedures and programs designed to promote health and enhance independence and quality of life, in keeping with Oak Hill’s mission. Additionally, in keeping with Oak Hill School mission, the LPN assists in the educational and social development of students under the direction of the Certified Special Education Teacher. Before you apply for an internal transfer, it is expected that you will familiarize yourself with the position you are applying for, such as the driving distance, schedule, and the nature of the group home or classroom. It is recommended that you reach out to the program manager to get an understanding of the program before you commit to applying for a job there. If granted, you will be committing to the new position for a minimum of six months before you are eligible to request another transfer.
