About The Position

The LPN assists in maintaining the health and well-being of program participants by monitoring health issues and implementing policies, procedures and programs designed to promote health and enhance independence and quality of life, in keeping with Oak Hill’s mission. Additionally, in keeping with Oak Hill School mission, the LPN assists in the educational and social development of students under the direction of the Certified Special Education Teacher.

Responsibilities

• assists in maintaining and improving the health and wellbeing of individuals by monitoring health status
• providing appropriate treatments to individuals with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities to enable their highest quality of life in terms of their physical, emotional, and mental health while adhering to Oak Hill’s policies and procedures
• assists in the educational and social development of students under the direction of the Certified Special Education Teacher
• implementing policies, procedures and programs designed to promote health and enhance independence and quality of life, in keeping with Oak Hill’s mission
