Requirements

  • Licensure: Must possess a current, valid California LVN License.
  • Certification: Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Experience: Previous experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care is preferred, but we welcome motivated new graduates!
  • Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and a heart for geriatric care.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Assessment & Monitoring: Observe and document changes in resident conditions, reporting promptly to the RN Supervisor or Physician.
  • Care Planning: Participate in the development and implementation of individualized resident care plans.
  • Leadership: Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure all resident needs are met with dignity and respect.
  • Communication: Act as a bridge between residents, families, and the medical team to ensure clear and compassionate communication regarding care.
  • Compliance: Maintain accurate medical records and ensure all nursing practices meet state and federal regulatory standards.
