About The Position

Whether you’re an early bird, a student looking for flexible hours, or someone passionate about helping others, the Y is a great place to grow. Job Details: Evening Shift - 1-3 days per week, Monday-Friday shifts are as follows: Shifts start any time between 3:30pm-5pm based on your availability and end at 9pm Additional 4:30pm-7pm shift available on Fridays only Weekend Shifts: 1-2 days per week, Saturday and Sunday shifts are as follows: 7:30am-12pm 12pm-3pm Additional 12:30pm-3:30pm shift available on Saturdays only 3pm-7pm
Requirements
- Able to swim and willing to learn new skills (no certification required—we’ll train you for free!)
- Friendly, reliable, and ready to work with people of all ages
- A positive attitude and commitment to safety
Responsibilities
- Monitor the pool to ensure safety of all patrons
- Prevent and respond to emergencies
- Provide excellent customer service and support to members
- Promote aquatic safety and education
