About The Position

Private Banking (PB) US Operations is responsible for managing middle and back-office services including the oversight of outsourced services to third party vendors as well as services offshored to other Deutsche Bank locations. As an Operations Expert, you will be responsible for supporting Lending Operations in oversight of day-to-day activities as well as partner in strategic initiatives. Lending Document management function, providing support to auditors, support business escalations, build and maintain relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders including regulators, auditors, market vendors and internal divisions, support Bank’s strategic initiatives and transformation related projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of loans as product.
  • Hands on experience with reconciliation and life cycle management of loans and deposits
  • Strong risk and control mindset including ability to escalate immediately
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Deposits & Lending business /Operations exposure

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage the Deposit Operations and Loan life cycle events ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all processing stages.
  • Responsible for over-all monitoring of routine deposit & lending operational task along with deposit & Lending Document Management Function like review, update, storage and retrieval of documents, Vault responsibilities
  • Reconcile system ledger balances with SAP GL , substantiate GLs, investigate breaks
  • Collaborate and follow through on open items, investigations, and control gaps, ensuring accountability and closure across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify process gaps and help drive process optimization.
  • Work on New Product Approvals, Regulatory Reporting and Transformation Projects
  • Act as a central liaison for governance, audits, regulatory inquiries, and process improvements across deposit and lending operations
