About The Position

Village Capital is a well-established mortgage company committed to delivering a quick, efficient, and quality mortgage loan process to our customers and business partners. We are a nationwide mortgage lender specializing in FHA, VA, USDA Loans. Our Headquarters are located in Henderson NV. We are a lender/servicer, who works with loan originators, brokers, and correspondents to offer our customers great rates and good terms. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as a Loan Processor Assistant. In this role, you will support the loan processing and origination teams by assisting with borrower communication, gathering and reviewing documentation, and helping ensure loan files move efficiently through the mortgage process. You will work closely with licensed Loan Officers and processors to coordinate next steps and maintain accurate, up-to-date loan records. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are detail-oriented, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team while meeting productivity and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately review, organize, and update loan documentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional phone etiquette
  • Experience with Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS) preferred, or willingness to learn new loan origination software quickly
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Loan Officers, Processors, and internal teams
  • 1+ year of experience in mortgage lending, loan processing, banking, or a related customer service or administrative role
  • Familiarity with mortgage loan documents, disclosures, and processing workflows (FHA, VA, and USDA experience a plus)
  • Experience managing a loan pipeline, including tracking conditions, deadlines, and borrower follow-ups
  • Comfortable handling frequent phone and email communication with borrowers, third parties, and internal teams
  • Experience with CRM or loan origination systems (Encompass experience preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and manage outbound and inbound calls with prospective and existing borrowers to gather information and provide next-step guidance
  • Assist Loan Officers by collecting, reviewing, and organizing required loan documentation to ensure complete and accurate loan files
  • Update and maintain loan records in the CRM and loan origination system, including call notes, document status, and follow-ups
  • Monitor loan pipelines and follow up with borrowers, third parties, and internal teams to keep files moving toward approval and closing
  • Support compliance and quality control efforts by ensuring files meet company guidelines, investor requirements, and regulatory standards
