About The Position

Loan Processors play an important role in our lending process. As a Loan Processor I you would be responsible for reviewing, processing, pre-funding and approving loans to close in accordance with regulations and bank policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year banking or related experience preferred.
• One year loan processing experience preferred.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office required.
• Superior customer service, interpersonal and teamwork skills required.
• Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail, be self-motivated and a problem-solver.
• Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to complete a project from start to finish.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree preferred.
• One year banking or related experience preferred.
• One year loan processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review loan packages, prefunding checklists and approve loans to close.
• Prepare payment extension forms and modification agreements.
• Pull lien search and file UCC-1 for perfected liens.
• Verify loan documents are properly executed, lien is perfected and exceptions are cleared.
• Fund loans including completing wire transfers as applicable.
• Prepare security agreements and substitutions of collateral.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
