About The Position

Under direct supervision of the Executive Housekeeper, responsible for cleanliness of assigned work areas including hotel rooms, common areas and Banquet Space. To maintain cleanliness of areas assigned in an efficient and accurate manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Related experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to maintain a professional status through interface with customers.
  • Must be able to maintain a professional working relationship with management and co-workers.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly is required to stand and walk for extended periods; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • The employee occasionally is required to sit; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and lift more than 25lbs.
  • Physical stamina and a proper mental attitude to work under pressure at a fast pace are essential.
  • Must have the mental fortitude to handle the pressures of multiple tasks while providing excellent guest service.
  • Follow all safety policies, emergency procedures, and chemical handling protocols.
  • Report hazards and practice safe lifting and kitchen safety procedures.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for entering and preparing guest rooms for cleaning by logging in status.
  • Vacuum and mop guest room and public floors.
  • Collects and replaces soiled linens, including making beds.
  • Cleans and replenishes bathroom.
  • Cleans, re-stocks, and stores housekeeping cart.
  • Handles guest requests expediently.
  • Completes and turns in assignment sheets and keys.
  • Ensures security of all guest rooms and hotel property, reports damages, and problems to supervisor.
  • Provides a friendly and courteous guest/employee contact experience.
  • Responds to guest questions with knowledgeable answers or acquire needed information.
  • Maintains detailed knowledge of resort services and hours of operations.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
