Calling all outdoor enthusiasts! Join the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) in our mission to protect the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Appalachian region. Since 1876, AMC has connected people to the outdoors through recreation, conservation, and community. If you're ready to lead, protect, and create meaningful guest experiences in a dynamic setting, we invite you to apply. The Maine Woods Initiative (MWI) is AMC’s approach to land conservation in the 100-Mile Wilderness. This model combines outdoor recreation, resource protection, sustainable forestry, and community partnerships. AMC has conserved over 114,000 acres of forestland, developed more than 120 miles of trails, and operates three lodges that support both guest experiences and conservation outcomes. The Medawisla Lodge Manager is responsible for delivering full-service guest experiences year-round, including winter, summer, and fall operations, as well as managing shoulder season transitions from November – December and March - April. This position lives on-site as needed and serves as the primary resident host and leader of lodge operations, staff, and overall guest experience in a remote setting.
