We’re hiring a Lodging Coordinator to Live. Work. Explore. in Columbia Falls, Montana! Job Summary: To assist lodging operations with administrative duties, lost and found inquiries, group blocks, group billing, ordering and supplies. About Columbia Falls: Just west of Glacier National Park lies a collection of communities who proudly welcome millions of visitors each year to the Glacier Gateway area. Columbia Falls - a lively Montana town with many locally owned shops, restaurants, breweries, and summer farmers markets - is the ideal home base for exploring Glacier National Park and the 2.4 million acres in Flathead National Forest.

Requirements

  • Must possess ability to communicate effectively with guests and all other co-workers.
  • Must be friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic and courteous in dealing with guests and co-workers.
  • Must possess strong organizational abilities.
  • Must use tack and discretion due to exposure to confidential matters.
  • Must be able to handle guest concerns in a professional and tactful manner.
  • Must be team oriented and possess neat and pleasant grooming habits.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts: days, weekends and holidays.
  • Will include travel throughout Glacier National Park; must be at least 19 years of age and have a clean driving record.
  • High school degree.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, stretch, bend for up to a 10 hours.
  • Must be able to lift boxes of materials of 30-70lbs.
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle and travel distances to in park locations when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Group sales, front desk supervision or reservation supervision experience preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of hospitality reservations and/or front desk programs such as Opera and Delphi.
  • Excellent verbal and written business communication skills, plus excellent analytical/problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all tour groups to ensure maximization of revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate with tour leaders, group specialists from our corporate office, and front desks to ensure group set-up and billing is accurate.
  • Comply with all company polices and National Park Service regulations with group allotments.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with all guests and co-workers. Must be able to handle guest concerns in a professional and tactful manner. Should be knowledgeable of the National Park and all its facilities and activities so that information passed on to the guests is informative and accurate.
  • Makes and files all group contracts.
  • Is responsible for receiving and posting group payments in Opera.
  • Is responsible for ensuring all groups are paid in full to the amount they owe per contract.
  • Manage government rate booking requests.
  • Manage meeting room space for Many Glacier Hotel, Lake McDonald Lodge, and possibly Cedar Creek Lodge using Delphi.
  • Assist front desks and accounting in research of account billing and ledgers.
  • Manage lost and found item inquiries.
  • Assist lodging operations by managing warehouse PAR levels of lodging supplies on hand.
  • Assist with managing the Lodging and Learning package.
  • Other duties as assigned.
