About The Position

The Log Clerk serves as a vital part of keeping our drivers safe and on the road! This position will assure that drivers for PAM Transport are knowledgeable and capable of maintaining DOT Compliance with the Hours of Service regulations through meaningful contact and engagement with the fleet.

Requirements

Cultivate and apply an in-depth understanding of DOT regulations to maintain the company’s satisfactory rating and ensure ongoing compliance.
Inspire a culture of knowledgeable growth within the fleet.
Support each fleet member’s success in DOT compliance through one-on-one mentoring.
Demonstrate strong analytical skills in recognizing patterns, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
Maintain a proactive, solution-oriented mindset that supports both operational functionality and regulatory excellence.

Responsibilities

Proactively drive continuous improvement within the fleet.
Explore and analyze information across multiple systems.
Identify trends, patterns, and irregularities through independent evaluation and collaborative efforts.

Actively engage in hands-on and digital implementation of firmware and software updates to ensure systems remain current and efficient.
