The Logistician IV integrates the spectrum of the logistics processes within the operational, acquisition and wholesale environments. Logisticians are responsible for directing the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance. The Logistician prepares and implements directives to ensure effective logistics support and establishes and enforces standards to ensure that the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped. It is the Logistician's duty to develop, initiate, integrate and manage all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems and equipment.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ professional experience in integrated logistics support.
  • Proficient with integrated logistics systems and contract cost monitoring tools such as eCRAFT.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.
  • Current active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Valid state Driver’s License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.
  • Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.
  • U.S. Citizenship.

Nice To Haves

  • Logistics DAWIA Level 3 certified or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Lead lifecycle sustainment and logistics planning activities for SCAMPI systems in accordance with DoD and USSOCOM requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute Logistics Support Plans (LSP), Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) strategies, and sustainment documentation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for equipment issue resolution, coordinating with Government logistics managers, OEMs, and support teams.
  • Oversee configuration management baselines, warranty tracking, spares planning, and inventory control activities.
  • Manage disposal of excess Government property through DLA and ensure compliance with property accountability regulations.
  • Provide senior-level analysis and recommendations for spares provisioning, lifecycle cost optimization, and sustainment improvements.
  • Support configuration audits, CCBs, and logistics-related reviews.
  • Performs other related work as assigned.
