About The Position

Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas, Inc is looking to hire a Logistics Clerk who is responsible for the coordination of facility activities including inbound transportation, receiving of products, scheduling customer orders, printing of Kanban Labels, accessing customer portals, and outbound transportation. This position is also required to communicate via email and phone with TNOE customer service and as necessary directly with customer contacts. Requirements

  • Knowledge of warehousing operations, practices, and procedural control methods.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.
  • Experienced with operational systems – WMS (warehouse management system) customer portals, carrier systems
  • Transportation knowledge on all modes of carrier bases.
  • Manage time effectively and prioritizes completing tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word). SAP desired.
  • Must be available to work after normal business hours to complete assigned jobs.
  • Ability to follow all Company policies and safety guidelines.
  • High School graduate with appropriate work experience in a distribution environment preferred.
  • Must have three to five (3-5) years of related work experience in either warehouse, distribution, transportation, or logistics capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Daily scheduling of customer orders, including printing of shipment manifests from customer systems (ERMS) and web portals.
  • Creation of Shipment documents including Shipping manifests, Kanban labels and BOL’s and special instructions.
  • Coordinate all shipping operations (including Toyota, Nissan, & service operations). Review all shipping requirements daily to ensure on time delivery.
  • Create daily transportation schedule based on Customer notified monthly shipping requirement.
  • Work directly with customers on emergency shipment requirements.
  • Work with Customer carriers and drivers on appointments and the efficient loading and dispatch of shipments.
  • Daily work objective to maintain a 100% On-Time Shipping performance to all customers.
  • Work with TOYO appointed carriers to coordinate Inbound deliveries.
  • Ensure materials are received in a timely manner and that all processes are followed to record in SAP and WISE systems accurately.
  • Other duties as assigned.
