About The Position

OBXtek is currently staffing for a Logistics Communications Center (LCC) Analyst. The ARNG G4 LCC provides strategic communication guidance for the 54 States, Territories, and the District of Columbia. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure the continued, uninterrupted operation of the Logistics Coordination Center (LCC). Provides processing of SIPR access, SIPR tokens, and obtain courier cards for ARNG personnel. Monitor and validate the legitimacy of the ARNG CBRN Enterprise data for potential crisis or threats to national security – especially as it relates to the ARNG. Employ a broad knowledge of Army logistics fundamentals and principles as they apply to the ARNG-LGZ Homeland Defense Support to Civil Authorities Mission. Support the G4 Crisis Action Team (CAT) and Continuity of Operations Team (COOP). Conduct ongoing review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and recommend procedures, materiel fielding plans, and other functions to support joint and interagency operations across the 54 States, Territories, and the District of Columbia. Perform logistics research and analysis on Army logistics topics for the ARNG G4 leadership. Prepare recommended briefings, information papers, Executive Summaries, or Situation Reports as directed. Conduct data collection, research, and analysis, and develop recommended products for ARNG G48 leadership. Coordinate service requests from the NCR Help Desk for classified computers, telephones, cell phones, laptops, blackberry systems, printers, and copier machines. Receive visits, electronic mail, and telephone calls from military, civilian, Contractors and Government personnel in/outside of the immediate organization; determines nature of inquiry and utilizes knowledge to provide a timely and accurate response or refers call/caller to appropriate Point of Contact (POC). Coordinate with the ARNG Directorate of Intelligence (G2) and Directorate of Information Management (G6) to establish and maintain essential accounts needed for the daily operations within the LCC. Maintain awareness of all State of the State/Territory/DC visits, and prepares State of the State/Territory/DC updates on logistics issues for the division chiefs and the ARNG G4. Prepare and provide daily SITREPs to keep the ARNG G4 community informed with national, local, and logistics related information that impact the ARNG. Experience with various Department of the Army/Department of Defense NIPR/SIPR programs and sites (ECOP, JPAS, JIEE) Monitor HQDA logistics meetings (e.g. AR2B, G4 ALL IN, Logistics Warfighter Symposium, G4 Global, etc.) that impact the ARNG G4 mission. Verify or schedule all meetings on the G4 office calendar and coordinates the collection of read ahead materials within the ARNG G4 Directorate to provide to the directorate or division leadership. Provide subject matter expertise on the OPTEMPO information systems to the ARNG-LGZ staff as a member of the COOP Team. Participate in exercises at the COOP site and ensure that communications are available at those sites.

Requirements

  • Must be US Citizen and have an active US DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Able to perform the duties and responsibilities listed above. Additionally, strong writing skills, attention to detail and public speaking is essential.
  • Requires three - five years of related experience.
  • Proficient in use of computer spreadsheets, databases, and other related tools.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to perform duties.
  • Position currently requires on-site support on a rotational basis (one week on site, two weeks teleworking), subject to change by the client.

Nice To Haves

  • The ideal candidate would be a retired or currently serving M-day Army National Guard (ARNG) Field Grade Officer, Senior NCO or Warrant Officer with a strong background in Logistics.
  • Familiarity with the ARNG networks and staffing procedures.
  • Experience with various Department of the Army/Department of Defense NIPR/SIPR programs and sites (ECOP, DISS, TMT, GCSS-A, EMDS)
  • Current SIPR Access.
  • While an ARNG background is very desirable, suitable experience in the US Army Reserve (USAR) or active component (AC) would be acceptable.
