Dedicated to Excellence, Committed to Service Logistics Coordinator The Logistics Coordinator assures that both inbound and outbound shipments are processed quickly, accurately, and economically. The Logistics Coordinator prepares documentation, keeps records, and follows established procedures to effectively communicate pertinent information within the ministry and to brokers, carriers, and forwarders. Select Shipping Carriers Coordinates the most effective shipping methods to meet both Abeka's operational needs and customer expectations. Obtains daily quotes from LTL and small-parcel carriers, selecting the best options to represent and serve Abeka. Performs rate comparisons across carriers to secure competitive pricing. Supports other ministry departments with shipping needs while maintaining cost efficiency. Oversee Shipping Requirements Schedule pick-up times and provide shipping documentation and coordinate with the dock team. Prepare certificates and commercial invoices. Register SEDs with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Shipper's Letter of Instruction (SLI), and Bill of Lading. Apply tariff codes, tax ID numbers, and Incoterms to shipments. Coordinate with brokers and booking agents. Stay current with government laws and international customs requirements. Assist with Kit Releasing Collaborates with the DC Floor Manager to update kitting documentation. Communicates with the Print Shop to request printing of required kitting materials. Releases kits as needed in coordination with the DC Management team. Monitors the kit dashboard to proactively identify potential inventory issues with kit components. Assist the Logistics Manager Skillfully assist with the responsibilities of the Logistics Manager as needed. Meet with vendors and representatives of companies that partner with Abeka. Coordinate with customer service to make sure customer orders arrive complete and in a timely manner.
