About The Position

Works collaboratively with supervisor as a resource to unit personnel. Participates in and/or assists Supervisor with staffing, timecards, hiring and training. Maintains an expert knowledge of the work area and optimizes use of available technology. Effectively communicates information to staff, and supervisor. Assists supervisor in the coaching and development of staff, optimization of area productivity and service problem resolution, and development of internal processes. May represent area on task forces/committees etc. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills when resolving conflicts with staff and customers. Assists in daily oversight of staff activity, and performs day-to-day logistics functions.   Serves as the on-floor leader, providing direction, decision-making support, and escalation management. Identifies process gaps and partners with leadership to implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency.      Collaborates with clinical teams, vendors, and internal departments to ensure seamless supply flow and timely issue resolution. Acts as a resource to staff by providing guidance, training, and on-floor leadership, including coverage in the supervisor’s absence. Responsible for safe forklift operation and training team members on proper equipment use. Drives inventory accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance.   During the selection process, you may participate in an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience.
