About The Position

Leads cross functional teams and provides consultative support on complex logistics issues across Mayo Clinic. Responsible for overall management and performance of the operations, direct customer relations, information technology input, quality, and security. The Logistics Manager is accountable for achieving Mayo Clinic objectives, productivity standards, and cost control goals. Manages high level analytical and technical information to plan and execute supply chain management best practices utilizing LEAN Six Sigma principles. Responsible for effective human resource management. The manager will create and maintain an efficient, cost-effective program. Included but not limited to inventory control, shipping, storage, receiving, distribution, transportation, warehousing, and data/information management. Additionally, the manager will support product standardization initiatives and Mayo Clinic objectives to reduce costs, to achieve operational efficiency, and to ensure clinical availability of supplies. Preferred candidate will have experience in leading large teams. Union experience is a plus for this role. Preferred candidate will have 10 years leadership experience.
