Requirements
- Must have good math and computer skills.
- Customer service oriented.
- Well organized and detail oriented.
- A self-starter with initiative and proven willingness to assume ownership for areas of responsibility.
- Ability to make informed decisions quickly and independently.
- Strong inter-personal communication and employee relations skills.
- HS or equivalent required
- 2-3 years shipping logistics experience
- Familiarity with computer based (ERP, eShip or other shipping software platforms), required
- Familiarity with utilizing online customer shipping portals required
Nice To Haves
- Some college preferred
- Hazmat shipping experience/certification preferred
- Familiarity with Lean Operating Systems preferred
